The weather conditions of the past few days, marked by a lack of rain, have led to a rapid decline in water flows in the department’s waterways. Of the five aquatic environment management zones in Côtes-d’Armor, three have exceeded the alert level, and the other two are approaching it.
Météo-France does not anticipate significant precipitation in the coming days, which suggests a worsening of the situation.
Faced with this development, and after placing the department on drought alert on July 4, 2025, the Prefect of Côtes-d’Armor decided to trigger the drought alert level across the entire territory by prefectural decree dated August 13, 2025.
Regarding the port and its infrastructure, visitors are requested not to wash their boats.
