The little town offers all one could wish for a memorable stay : 8 tennis courts, a golf course and riding club club nearby, a casino, a mini golf, a cinema, several nightclubs as well as a sailing school, diving and fishing clubs and two dynamic yacht clubs. St Quay-Portrieux is a holiday resort with many shops, some hotels and various restaurants.
The village is ideal for a browsing tour with it's creperies and alleys.
On the sporting side as well as the sailing scene, St Quay-Portrieux is faithful to the organization on its fine sandy beaches of national and international beach-volley championships.

Culture is well served here with the countryside and monuments, and the town of St Quay-Portrieux is a perfect mirror of the bubbling and varied character of "Cotes d'Armor" activities…
St Quay-Portrieux fishing tradition goes back to the 17th century. Today the fleet consists of around 60 boats, landing on a daily basis sole, turbot, sea bass and crustaceans… and 10 offshore fishing boats. Between November and April the fleet rises to 100 boats for the scallop season, the highlight of the year on this famous spot.
At St Quay Port d'Armor the yachting and fishing fleets cross and meet all the time. In the Côtes d'Armor, man has married the natural beauty of the coastline with the functional needs of ports and marinas.
Each harbour, each mooring has its own charm and character:
- little Breton ports between a few rocks,
- old Islandic fishing harbours in the heart of towns or, like at St Quay-Portrieux, modern marinas with all the amenities.
If St Quay-Portrieux looks proudly out towards the sea, it also looks into the county of Côtes d'Armor and may act as a stepping stone into the countryside.

Here is the stuff of dreams castles, monasteries, watermills, river valleys and enchanted forests. In the summer, there are jazz festivals, festoù noz (Breton music) or classical concerts, and because the summer is never long enough and any excuse is good, the Côtes d'Armor is worth a visit at any time of the year.
